Rate of Access
Automated data collection is performed at reasonable intervals with polite request timing to minimize load on source servers. Petroleum prices are checked every four hours, news every six hours, and regulatory orders twice daily. Because prices update infrequently, most checks result in no new data being stored. No aggressive crawling, scraping of restricted areas, or circumvention of access controls is performed.
